Building Design Manager – Siplast

Tim Clepper is a Building Design Manager for GAF|Siplast in the Southwest US, holding Registered Architect licenses in TX and LA, and IIBEC certifications as an RRC and RRO. With over 15 years of experience in architectural, roofing, and building enclosure design and consulting across various building types. Tim also serves on the executive board of the Gulf Coast Chapter of IIBEC and is a member of AIA. He has extensive experience in all phases of design and construction. On GAF|Siplast’s Building & Roofing Science, Tim and his counterparts offer technical design support across the U.S., Mexico and Canada, focusing on roofing and enclosure best practices, sustainability, energy efficiency and resiliency.

Session Description

Attendees will learn of the benefits of vegetated roofing, gain a base knowledge of different types of vegetated roof assemblies, understand various roofing technologies vegetated roof assemblies are commonly paired with and why, and learn some of the key areas for coordination between team members to help ensure a successful vegetated roof project.

  • Identify Stormwater Management “tools” and how they are incorporated into overburden systems.
  • Discuss Design Considerations including suitable membrane technologies for On-Structure Stormwater Management
